Hopeful Things

I've noticed something very exciting going on lately. Everywhere I go people are talking about getting chickens, planting a garden, and canning food. I think that is a very hopeful thing!

  2. Love Unawakened,
A lot of the fun is in learning as you go. I didn't grow up on a farm so this was all new to me. Boy! Have I learned a lot of lessons! Maybe you could start small with one animal that you're interested in and take it from there. I think you will find there is so much wonder in Creation. You will learn with plants, too. Once you start really noticing what goes on you will find that you have a knack for it after all.
In Isaiah 28:24-29 His word says, "Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground? When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rye in their place?
For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.
For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.
This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working."
Let me know how it goes! And, let me know if I can help.
